BRUNSWICK – The Times Record has hired Rick DeBruin as an advertising sales representative. DeBruin’s territory will include the downtown Brunswick area.

Prior to joining The Times Record, DeBruin managed a call center and recruitment team at the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram. Prior to this, he was their sales representative for the Westbrook/Gorham markets.

Before joining the Press Herald, DeBruin was a sales representative for the Lewiston Sun Journal. Between stints with these two newspapers, DeBruin owned and operated DeBruin Family Laundry in Auburn for eight years.

DeBruin is a Bates College graduate and lives in Durham with his wife, Michelle. A longtime musician, DeBruin recently joined the Bath Municipal Band as a tuba player.
