ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The wedding of Lucinda Yousey and John Burnell Keller was held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 26 at Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church. Pastors Myron Roggie and Merv Keller officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Keller is the daughter of David J. and Marie Yousey of Castorland, N.Y. Mr. Keller is the son of Mervin and Karen Keller of Wales.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white gown with beading, lace insets and a train. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, carnations, Stargazer lilies, alstroemeria, white freesia and baby’s breath.
Cheryl Stoltzfus was matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Janet Haldeman, cousin of the bride, Jennifer Kenyon, Beth Johnson, Helena Johnson, Rhoda Snader and Mindi Garman, friends of the bride, and Melody Keller, sister of the bridegroom.
Performing the duties of best man was Ryan Bowell, friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Dick Rooker, Tim Torrence, Matt Starrett, Steve Stockman and Ho Jung Yu, friends of the bridegroom, and Jim and Jordan Keller, brothers of the bridegroom. Ushers were Nathan and Steven Yousey, brothers of the bride, and Chad Twombly, friend of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church, after which the couple traveled to Australia, visiting both Sydney and Melbourne, and toured the South Island of New Zealand.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Houghton College and a master’s degree from Robert Packer School of Medical Technology. She also received a medical degree from Upstate Medical University and was formerly employed as a family practice physician at Norlanco Medical Associates in Elizabethtown, Pa.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from Grace College and a master’s degree from Indiana University. He also received a doctorate in instructional design. He is director of education at Indiana Humanities Council.
