LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met Feb. 13 at Murray Hall with 38 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting.
Reported on the sick list were Lucille Frechette, Shirley Toncer, Emile Richard, Dick Bryant and Jeannette Buck, who is still in the hospital.
Couture is still trying to contact the Syncopations with hopes of having them entertain the group in the near future. In honor of Valentine’s Day, the group had a sing-a-long of love songs led by the Senior Singers.
At the next meeting, in honor of Presidents Day, those attending are asked to wear something red, white and blue.
The 50-50 was won by Lorraine Cote. Three door prizes brought in by members were won by Alice DeMoras, Edith LeBlanc and Jeannine Williams.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, cake and ice cream and candy favors were distributed, after which cards and games were played.
