AUBURN – Michael P. DeBrosky, 56, of West Sumner, died Friday in Auburn, after a short illness.

Born and raised in Haverhill, Mass., he graduated from Haverhill Trade School and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

He was a retired machinist, and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and being a bear guide.

He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and using his computer.

He was the son of the late Joseph and Sophia DeBrosky of Haverhill, Mass.; and is survived by sons, Joseph and grandson, Brendan, of Camden, the late Mark DeBrosky of Lewiston, and Michael P. Jr. of Livermore. Also daughters, Elizabeth and Marjorie Leigh of Livermore; a sister, Suzanne (Mrs. John) Skulski of Plaistow, N.H.; nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.
