PARIS – Students of the Month for March at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School are Cosmo Giansanti, freshman; Nicole Berke, sophomore; Nicholas DiConzo, junior; and Brenden Barker, senior.

Each month, high school staff members nominate students who they feel have “made a difference in their classroom.” The program is sponsored by the Oxford Hills Rotary Club and coordinated by Maureen Howard of the Oxford Hills Community Education Exchange.

The four students were praised for their strong commitment to their academic programs, willingness to go the extra mile whenever needed, and participation in after-school activities. One teacher noted that her nominee “exemplifies the qualities that every teacher would love to have in all their students.”

The students’ names and picture were placed on a plaque that hangs in the hallway across from the school library. In addition, the students had lunch with the principal, and on March 8 they were honored at a Rotary breakfast.
