LEWISTON – Floyd P. Draper, 52, of Lewiston died Monday, March 13, unexpectedly after a long illness.

He was born in New Haven, Conn., on Nov. 27, 1953, the son of Floyd W. and Patricia I. (Russell) Draper. He was a graduate of New Haven High School. He then joined the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then entered graphic art working at Graphic Image in Norcross, Ga., then moving to Maine 10 years ago.

He had worked for both the Penmore Printing and Dingley Press. He enjoyed art, painting in water color and oil, drawing and the great love of his family.

He is survived by his mother of Greene; a son, John Henry Draper of Conn.; one brother, Timothy Draper of Greene; five sisters, Deborah and her husband, Patrick Sadenwater of West Haven Conn., Yvonne North of Lee, Mass., Peggy and her husband, David Johnson, Kimberly and her husband, David Long, all of Greene, Rachel and her husband, Timothy Leighton, of Wales; aunts, uncles, many cousin; and various special nieces and nephews
