I just finished reading the Sun Journal article March 20 about the church in Topeka, Kan., that plans to send members to Maine for the funeral of Sgt. Corey Dan. The church’s announcements, as printed in the article, contain the most puerile and anti-God concepts I have ever heard.

The picketers will travel from Kansas to Maine to picket Sgt. Dan’s funeral? Will the delegation bring God’s blessing to the grieving family? Will they bring comfort and God’s love to help the family through their tragedy?

Give me a break. Their religious beliefs are the most twisted and pitiful I have ever heard of in my 83 years of life.
