Auxiliary meeting
RUMFORD – Lt. Robert Shand 1641 Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at at the VFW, Waldo Street. Nominations and selection of new officers for 2006-2007 will be held. New and old members are needed to attend.
Beef supper
DIXFIELD – A public smothered beef supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at the Dixfield Congregational Church. Menu includes smothered beef, potatoes, peas, rolls, beverage and pies. Cost for adults is $6, and $3 for children. Take-outs will be available by calling 562-4582.
