American Legion Post 153 of New Auburn recently presented a $500 scholarship to Katherine Lauze of Lewiston for her outstanding academic achievements, her contributions to Lewiston High School and her community. Lauze is attending the University of Maine in Orono, majoring in sociology. She is the daughter of Peter and Elissa Lauze of Lewiston.
