BIDDEFORD – Great Works Internet, one of northern New England’s largest local Internet service provider, has purchased the assets of AcadiaNet, a Maine-owned and operated ISP primarily servicing central Maine and the Midcoast Region. The move allows GWI to expand high-speed broadband access in central Maine and Midcoast Region, areas previously not served by GWI.

GWI plans to begin transitioning AcadiaNet customers to GWI’s network immediately.
