OXFORD – The Allison MacDonald and Sons Harness Racing Stable will have an open house from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29. The stables are located at the Oxford County Fairgrounds, Pottle Road.
There will be free coffee and doughnuts in the morning and hot dogs in the afternoon.
Allison MacDonald has almost two decades of experience in training harness race horses. He manages the stables at the Oxford County Fair Racetrack, which is featured on the cover of this year’s Maine harness racing calendar.
The Oxford Fair has the newest racetrack in Maine. Anyone interested in boarding a horse at the fairgrounds or anyone wanting information about buying/selling a horse, can contact Allison MacDonald at 743-0110.
