BRIDGTON – Bridgton Hospital and the Special Delivery Family Birthing Center will offer a prepared childbirth class from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, May 16 and 19.
Course fee is $30 a person or $60 a couple, which is usually covered by health insurance. The class focuses on the process of labor, delivery, Cesarean birth, pain relief in labor and relaxation. The class will be taught by a nursing staff member of the birthing unit.
The next scheduled class will be a condensed version offered on Saturday, June 10. To register for the class or for more information, phone the unit at 647-6128.
Vendors sought for Otisfield craft fair
OTISFIELD – The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church’s Scholarship Fundraising Committee is looking for people to rent space at the annual craft fair.
The fair will be held Saturday, July 22, at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Space is limited, and Chairwoman Marian Culbert is urging people not to wait too long. Anyone interested in renting space should call Culbert at 743-9832.
