Friday bingo
LOVELL – The VFW Post 6783 and Auxiliary will hold bingo every Friday, beginning May 5, at the VFW Hall, Route 93. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and games will begin at 6:30. Food, snacks and beverage will be available to purchase. The public is welcome.
Public supper
PARIS – A public lasagna dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Deering Memorial Methodist Church, 39 Main St., South Paris. Menu will include lasagna, dessert and beverage. Cost for adults is $7 and children under 12, $3.
Auditions set
PARIS – Auditions and tryouts will be held for the musical, “Grease,” open to local students in the fifth through 12th grade. There are more than 20 speaking parts and more than 10 nonspeaking parts.
The performance will be under the direction of Troy Mills, who has directed the musical several times before. Tryouts will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at the South Paris American Legion Hall, Church Street. Parents are welcome. For more information, contact Mills at 739-6069.
