JAY – A Saco man faces an array of charges resulting from a burglary that was brought to light after Livermore Falls police arrested the man on another charge.

Jay police Detective Roderick Small said Tuesday that he arrested Michael Beall, 21, Sunday on charges of felony burglary and receiving stolen property.

Beall was arrested by Livermore Falls police Sunday on a charge of unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.

Beall is accused of selling prescription pain pills at a bar in town, and a bar representative called police and reported it, Steward said.

Jay police then received a call from Livermore Falls police saying that Beall had some suspicious property on him that may belong to a Church Street resident in Jay, Small said. Those items were two bottles of prescription medication for pain, a video camera and a cell phone, Small said.

He called the Jay residents, and they had just returned home, and after checking around, discovered it had been entered and items taken, Small said.

Beall is scheduled to appear July 14 in 12th District Court in Farmington on Jay’s charges and will have a separate court date scheduled for Livermore Falls charges in the 8th District Court in Lewiston.
