LEWISTON – A total of four clubs will compete in the new Lewiston Men’s Modified Pitch Softball League this season.

The coaches and managers are as follows: Rapid Fires, Mike Childs; Espos Trattoria, Greg Boucher; BT Pallet, Brian Boucher; Randy’s Junkyard, Mike Dumont.

This league will operate on Sundays at Upper Franklin, with games at 11 a.m., 12:30, 2:00 and 3:30. That equates to 12 games over 6 weeks. A double-elimination tourney will follow.

The league is sponsoring a modified tourney on May 20-21. Sought are 12 teams. To register, call Greg at 712-3530, or Brian at 786-8094.

Tony Gowell (375-6540), president of the Lewiston Rec Softball League, reports that 17 clubs are entered in the Lewiston Rec Men’s Slow Pitch League that is set to start May 9-10.

A total of 15 teams have registered for the Lewiston Coed Softball League that begins May 8.
