Tourney has openings
POLAND – Openings remain for The Make A Difference Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, June 17 at Summit Golf Course (rain date is June 24). The tourney is sponsored by Poland Spring Academy.
Entry fee is $50 per player, or $200 for a team of 4. Fee includes a golf shirt and barbecue. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the tourney to start at 9:30.
Sponsorships are also available, $50 for a tee, and $100 for a tee and green. Checks can be made payable to Poland Spring Academy, P.O. Box 217, Poland, Maine 04274, attention: Tina Levasseur, vice president.
There will be awards for the top 3 teams, last place team, longest drive and closest to the pin. The hole-in-one contest on #9 carries a $10,000 cash prize.
