LEWISTON – Gipper’s/White Rock picked up the win in its Lewiston Men’s League season opener with a 17-12 verdict over Carlton Club.

Mike Gazza belted a home run and two doubles for G/WR, while Bob Haskell went 3-for-3.

Josh Breau and Jim Webster each homered, while Ben Kelsey contributed a home run, double and single.

Mike Harris picked up the mound win with relief from Chip Doughty.
