MONMOUTH – Items in next month’s town election – scheduled for June 13 at Cumston Hall – have been collected in a 25-article voting guide available at the town office.
The guide leads voters through the recommended budgets for town departments, the election of three selectmen and two school committee members and a measure that would return the annual town meeting.
The June vote will be the second town election since ending the sometimes contentious town meetings.
According to the guide, school spending is proposed to climb by 7.3 percent. Increases are also proposed for the police and fire departments.
