LEWISTON – D.A. Poussard picked up two more wins in recent Elliot Little League Major Division action against Mike Morin’s Auto. Poussard won the first game 5-3 as Chris Madden and Coby Poussard combined for 7 strikeouts. Madden walloped a 2-run homer and had 2 other hits. Colt Steele had the game-winning RBI, a triple. Sam Morin also belted a 3-bagger. Tucker Bowdoin and Corbin Hyde each collected 2 hits for Morin. . . In the second game, Poussard pulled out a 12-11 win in extra innintgs as Madden clouted a walk-off homer. He added a double and triple. Poussard and Morin rapped 3 hits each. Nate Berube, Madden and Poussard shared the mound duties. Bowdoin and Hyde again led Morin.

Healey & Associates split 2 games in the Major Division, losing a tough 6-5 decision to Dube in the first one. Zach Phelan knocked in the winning run. Ben Wigant socked 2 hits, 1 a homer. Caleb Leino scored 3 times. Dakota Keene and Cam Bussiere pitched 4 innings of scoreless relief. Connor Anthnone drilled 3 hits for Healey, including a round-tripper. . . Healey trimmed Aubuchon Hardware 6-1 as winning hurler Shawn Ricker spun a nifty 2-hitter, fanning 10. Mike Bouchard ripped a 3-run homer. John Peters had an RBI triple. Brian Hall hurled 3 solid innings for Aubuchon.

Also in the Majors, Rowe Lewiston squeezed out a 4-3 victory over Aubuchon. Dylan Tanguay’s 2-run double was the game-winner. Chad Chabot swatted a pair of doubles. Evan Bourassa and Ryan Laverdiere combined on a 4-hitter. Loser Bryan Hall pitched well, striking out 8.
