AUGUSTA – Maine National Guard Business Outreach Day is an opportunity for Maine small businessowners to market their goods and services to procurement officers from the Maine National Guard and buyers from various government agencies.

Among the speakers are Maj. Robert Crowley, contracting officer for the Maine Army National Guard, and Michael Widdecombe, contract surety account executive for Skillings Shaw & Associates. Topics include the federal government’s small purchase process, central contractor registration, surety bond information and an overview of SBA’s small business services.

The seminar is set from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at the Augusta Armory, 179 Western Ave.
