FRYEBURG – The 10th season of chamber music concerts presented by The International Musical Arts Institute continues every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday through July 28 at the Bion Cram Library at Fryeburg Academy.

More than 50 resident artist/musicians are in residence at its annual summer program on the academy campus.

Upcoming concerts at the Bion Cram Library will feature festival artists performing a variety of works by such master composers as Schubert, Bartok, Beethoven, Strauss and Brahms.

Tonight’s program will include Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 18, No. 2, the String Trio of Jean Francaix, and two works by Richard Strauss: the Piano Quartet in c minor, Op. 13, and “Metamorphosen” for string septet.

Proceeds from tonight’s concert will benefit both IMAI and Friends of Russian Orphans. Admission to this concert is $15, free for anyone under 18 accompanied by an adult.

The Wednesday, July 19, program will feature Piano Trio No. 3 by Schumann, Serenade in D for String Trio by Beethoven, Sonata for Violin and Piano in A Major, K. 526, by Mozart and the Piano Trio in g minor, Op. 15, by Smetana.
