After reading Michael Johnson’s letter in the July 15 Sun Journal, I just had to respond.

Chandler Woodcock may just be a ray of light shining into the world of unbelief in Jesus Christ, in the Word and will of Almighty God. Into a world of darkness of vanity, of liberalism, of humanism (where man’s mind becomes his god), of false values, etc.

George Bush, whatever else he might be, is a moral man who has some regard and respect for God’s truth.

I thank God for the right-wingers, the conservatives who believe what God knows. One should be against abortion, homosexuality, separation of the true church (which Christianity is as three centuries of evidence have proven) and the state. One might as well believe falsely in separation of soul and body. As for creationism: the very heavens and the earth declare the glory of God, and are continually saying to all nations and all tongues everywhere that the hand that made them is divine.

Discrimination can be either a good thing or a bad thing. One should never discriminate against what is involuntary; but one should be discriminating about voluntary choices when those choices are against the will of God, or one’s own personal preferences.

I’m certainly discriminating about what I eat, what I wear, what I watch, etc. And, certainly about what is sinful or false or evil in any way.
