LEWISTON – Bob and Rita Parent of Lewiston were honored on June 4 at an anniversary party at their home, in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on May 26, 1956, at Holy Family Church in Lewiston.
The party was hosted by their two children, Mike Parent and his wife, Bev, of Lewiston, and Monique Willer and her husband, Bob, of Lewiston. Also attending were grandchildren of the couple, Shaun and Wendy Parent, Angela Willer and John Olsen and Brian Willer. Great-grandchildren also attended, Tyler and Allysa Parent and Kaitlynn Fournier. Unable to attend were Linda and Casey Morin and Don Beaulieu.
The couple received a 50th anniversary cake and gifts.
