LEWISTON – Lewiston police are investigating the unattended death of a person at an apartment building on Pierce Street on Monday night.

Because the family had not been notified, the name of the person was not released.

The cause of death was unknown Monday night, but Lewiston police Sgt. Danny Lachance said detectives are expecting autopsy results by the end of the week.
