FRYEBURG – Linda Brawn, president of the Maine Federation of Republican Women, will be the speaker at the Tuesday, Aug. 8, meeting of the Oxford County Republican Committee at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds

A 5:30 p.m. social hour will be followed by a dinner served by the Fryeburg Town Committee at 6:30. Brawn will speak and there will be a brief business meeting.

The timetable ending with the November election will be reviewed. Announcements on fundraising and other election details are also expected to be part of the agenda, according to Chairman Erlon Jones of Fryeburg. All area Republicans are invited.

The committee’s next meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Rumford Grange 115 in Rumford Center.
