Partners Norine Clarke and Penelope Stowell opened the business on Aug. 6, 1981, in a log cabin along Route 2 in Dixfield. The store changed its location to 31 Main St. in 1987, with Clark as the only proprietor. Classes in quilting, cross stitch, basket making, stenciling and other crafts have been offered.
