PARIS – A 9-year-old boy who was hit by a pickup truck while riding his ATV was in satisfactory condition Friday at Maine Medical Center, according to hospital officials.
Albert Roberti was life-flighted to the Portland hospital in critical condition Thursday. When riding his child-sized ATV down a driveway, he was hit by the pickup, driven by Raymond Walker, 63, of 702 Elm Hill Road.
No charges have been filed, although state law prohibits children under 10 from riding an ATV alone.
There were no updates in the investigation Friday afternoon, said Sgt. Michael Dailey of the Paris Police Department.
