AUBURN – Cote Bros. Sewing Machines welcomes two new employees.

Anita LeClair Davis has vast experience in office management, accounting, human resources, customer service, computer and software skills, and sewing skills. Her focus will be improving customer service, training and software programs.

She is from the Lewiston area and speaks fluent French. She attended Lewiston High School and has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Husson College.

Also joining the staff is Jackie Carter. She has sewn most of her life and will be teaching machine guide classes as well as some project classes.

She and her husband, Dave, just moved to Auburn in June. She was a special education teacher for many years at the high school level.

Originally from New York, she grew up on Long Island, went to school, married and raised a family, and eventually moved to Maine in 2001. Her children are both grown.
