LEWISTON – The d’Youville Pavilion has launched a new service for residents in need of specialized wound care. The service will provide on-site, comprehensive wound evaluations for residents and short-term rehabilitation patients. Service will include reviewing chronic and acute conditions, medications, nutritional status and environmental factors.
Staffing the service is Nan Boucher, APRN, ANP, GNP, who was recently certified by the National Alliance of Wound Care. Boucher will work with other staff to develop a wound care strategy and treatment plan individualized for each patient.
