FRYEBURG – The Fryeburg Fish and Game Association Inc. will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at the New Church, Oxford Street.

It will be a dinner meeting, and all those interested in conservation and sporting activities are welcome to attend by calling Jim Holt at 935-2625.

The season will begin with a slide show presentation and report on the Maine Conservation School at Bryant Pond by two attendees, sponsored by the association.

Plans will be made to staff the association’s booth at the Fryeburg Fair and member Brian Hill would like to hear from members willing to staff the booth during the week.

There will also be a report on the efforts to organize an NRA Junior Rifle Club that will be probably be named the Saco Valley Junior Rifle Club, a division of the Fryeburg Fish and Game Association and an affiliate of the National Rifle Association.

The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at the Fryeburg Fire Station. For more information, call Holt.
