Three area golfers shot a hole-in-one in recent play.

Dave Henry scored his second career ace Sept. 9 on his home course at Wilson Lake Country Club at Wilton. He aced the #16 hole, 140-yards, using a 9-iron. Playing partners were Dick Nile and Scott White.

Pete Nadeau of Martindale Country Club in Auburn, collected his first hole-in-one on Sept. 9, acing the #11 hole, 152-yards, utilizing a 7-iron. Witnessing the feat were Steve Berry, Scott Lever and Bob Brickel.

Andy Temple took just 1 shot on the #5 hole, 190 yards, at The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield Sunday. The ball, hit with a driver, rolled right into the cup for a hole-in-one. Playing partners were Sully Brown and Alex Wheelock.

Wilson Lake

WILTON –Ron Greco defeated Dick Marshall for the A Flight Club Championship stroke play. The scheduled 36-hole event went 2 extra playoff holes.

Dave Henry beat Cliff Harris 4 and 3 to claim the President’s Cup. Both golfers advanced through a field of 20 to reach the finals.
