In my opinion, Tim Carter of Bethel should represent the incoherently splintered, cobbled together House District 91 for the next term.
He has succeeded in one of the toughest callings a Maine resident can undertake – being a dairy farmer. His overall background, education and experience make him well-qualified for public office.
Carter is far from being just a small-town farmer.
He has graduated from the University of Maine, served his country’s military as an officer, gained high-level administrative experience in Washington, D.C. in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and has wrestled with local schooling issues.
The sum of all the parts I have just mentioned has led me to conclude that, as a Bethel citizen, he should represent House District 91.
