MINOT – Leo and Georgette (Lagasse) Lepage of Minot, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 10, 1946, at St. Louis Church in Auburn.

Mr. Lepage is a retired lieutenant with the Auburn Fire Department. He subsequently worked for the Auburn School System’s maintenance department, from which he retired several years ago.

Mrs. Lepage was a homemaker and later worked at St. Joseph’s Day Care Center, Clover Manor and the Odd Fellows Home, all located in Auburn.

Family members and friends attended a festive dinner held on Aug. 5 at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. A friend of the family recorded the celebration and created a memorable DVD for the couple.

Weeks prior to the party, invitees were encouraged to contribute fond memories of the couple, which were compiled and presented to them in a heartwarming memory album.

Mr. and Mrs. Lepage continue to enjoy their retirement years at their home in Minot.
