FARMINGTON – Alec Brown scored on an assist from Andrew Knox to lift the Beavers to a 1-0 victory over St. Joseph’s on Saturday.

UMF outshot the Monks 9-8 as Brian Lemont made two saves for UMF (4-5-2).

WATERVILLE – Travis Parent scored on a jump ball and Scott Clency turned away six shots as University of Maine at Presque Isle stopped Thomas College, 1-0.

Thomas keeper Russel Beckwith recorded six saves in the losing effort.

Williams 3, Bates 0

LEWISTON – Senior Patrick Huffer and sophomore Pierre Meloty-Kapella scored a goal apiece as Williams shut out Bates, 3-0. Senior Jeff Castiglione made three saves for the Ephs (8-0) to earn the shutout. Junior Aaron Schleicher made seven saves for the Bobcats (5-4)..

Tufts 5, Bowdoin 0

BRUNSWICK – Tufts broke open a 1-0 game with four second half goals to beat Bowdoin College 5-0. Mattia Chason tallied a pair of goals. Alex Botwinick added a goal and two assists for Tufts.

(4-4-1). Nathan Lovitz stopped three shots for Bowdoin (6-2-0).
