LEWISTON – Julia Bergeron scored six minutes into the game for the lone goal to lead Lewiston to a 1-0 victory over Leavitt.

Sasha Roy set up Bergeron’s goal. Lewiston goalie Katie Cobb preserved the victory by stopping a penalty kick by Leavitt’s Paige Dyer with 8:04 to play. Cobb stopped eight shot for the Blue Devils (3-9-1), while Kat Rothe had eight saves for Leavitt.

St. Dom’s 0, Traip 0

KITTERY – Freshman Elise Applegate turned away seven shots for St. Dom’s to help earn a scoreless tie with Traip Academy .

St. Dom’s (6-3-3) missed several close shots, including an apparent goal that was called back. Traip keeper Coreen Packett stopped all 11 shots on goal.

Dirigo 3, Mountain Valley 0

DIXFIELD – Melissa Harvey netted a pair of goals and an assist to lead Dirigo past Mountain Valley in a MVC matchup.

Megan Russell and Lanette Bryant combined for 10 saves recording the eighth team shutout of the season for the Cougars (9-1-2).

Katherine Gagne also added a goal and an assist. Kari McPherson stopped 10 shots for Mountain Valley (3-8-1).

Monmouth 1, Carrabec 0

MONMOUTH – Jenn Lola scored on a breakaway down the middle of the field early in the first half giving Monmouth all they needed for a 1-0 victory over Carrabec.

Brittany Rac turned away six shots for the Mustangs (8-3-1) while Ashley Zikorus stopped 11 for the Cobras (1-10-1).

MCI 1, Oak Hill 0

PITTSFIELD – Jenna Lorensten grabbed a loose ball and scored on a breakaway with less than five minutes in regulation to lift MCI over Oak Hill 1-0.

Oak Hill (3-8-1) and MCI goalies Courtney Seguin and Bianca Asaro each turned away six shots in net.

Lisbon 4, Winthrop 1

LISBON FALLS – Kerstin Fairbanks netted a hat trick to help Lisbon beat Winthrop 4-1 in girls’ soccer Saturday.

After Sarah Pacheco tied the game at 1-1 for the Ramblers (4-6-2), Traelynne Hinckley scored off an Ashley Mason throw in with 21 minutes left in the match to give Lisbon (6-4-2) the lead.

Sam Purcell made seven saves to collect the win. Christy Dunn stopped 10 shots for Winthrop.

Cape 0, Greely 0

CUMBERLAND – Marla Holden stopped 15 shots to help Cape Elizabeth salvage a 0-0 tie with Greely in girls’ soccer Saturday.

Christine Landis made nine saves for the Rangers (7-3-2) who outshot the Capers by a 20-15 margin.

Oxford Hills 1, Cony 0

AUGUSTA – Lindsay Fox scored with 22:48 to play in the game as Oxford Hills nipped Cony 1-0. Fox found the lower corner of the net on a long shot from the 18 after taking a cross from Emmy Lou Blake.

Samantha Rivers turned aside three shots for the shutout win in net for the Vikings (8-5).

Field hockey

Lisbon 5, Boothbay 2

BOOTHBAY – Amanda Stevens completed a hat trick with a second half goal as Lisbon rolled Boothbay, 5-2, in field hockey. Katy Fitzgerald and Kelly Bourgoin also scored for the Greyhounds (8-5), and Christy McAuliffe added two assists.

Rachel Beal stopped nine shots in net for Lisbon.
