AUBURN – The Auburn Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a Pillo Hockey Program for those in Grades 5-6 and 7-8. Entry fee is $25 for residents, and $35 for non-residents. Deadline for registration is Oct. 27. Pillo hockey is an indoor hockey game using foam-headed sticks and a foam ball. Games are played on Saturdays at Great Falls Gym for six weeks, from Nov. 4 through Dec. 16. Players can register at the APRD office at Pettengill Park, or on-line at www.auburnmaine.org.
