Grange meeting
POLAND – Excelsior Grange 5, Harris Hill Road, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the grange. Following the business meeting, Lecturer Charmaine Andrews will present the program, with special music and a guest speaker who will tell about a recent trip to Slovakia. Refreshments will be served after the meeting, and all friends and guests are welcome.
Auxiliary lunch
LEWISTON – The St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center Auxiliary luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Lepage Conference Center. The group plans to finalize the details around their annual holiday fair, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17.
The guest speaker will be Sue Poulin, staff development specialist in the education department at St. Mary’s.
Campus Cuisine will prepare the meal at a cost of $9 a person. It includes a choice of ham with pineapple sauce or sole with crab and scallop stuffing, baked potato, green beans, assorted pies and beverage.
Those interested in attending the luncheon should contact Deb Perkins at 777-8863 to reserve a spot. RSVP and payment should be sent to the Foundation Office by Monday, Oct. 23.
Open house
AUBURN – St. Dominic Regional High School will hold its annual open house for prospective students and families at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
Highlights of the day will include student-led tours and presentations in classrooms; testimonials from students, parents, faculty and administration; activity booths highlighting extracurricular offerings; and light refreshments.

Cemetery meeting
AUBURN – The North Auburn Cemetery Association will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the home of Harry and Jean Walker, 1096 Lake Shore Drive. Anyone interested is invited to attend.
Society update
HEBRON – The Hebron Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the town office to update ongoing projects and to plan future programs. All trustees, members and interested parties are invited.
Scrapbooking
LEWISTON – The Vineyard Christian School will have a scrapbooking fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at 9 Foss Road. It will be day filled with fun, food, prizes, raffles and scrapbooking.
The fundraiser is to help keep the cost of tuition down so that the school is affordable. The price will be $20 for those who preregister and $25 on the day. Contact Jen Marcotte at 577-6659 for details.

LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon High School Boosters Club will hold its annual Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the MTM Community Building, School Street. Cost is $25 a table. Crafter can reserve a table by contacting Janice Comber at 353-6151 or by e-mail at [email protected].
Raking lawns
LEWISTON – The Lewiston High School Key Club will be raking lawns Saturday, Nov. 18, (rain date Saturday, Nov. 25) in the Holy Cross Church area. Those who are elderly or have a hard time raking lawns should call 786-8534 and leave a name, address and phone number. Donations will be welcome but not required.
