Senior Players will give program for WOWS

RUMFORD – The Widows or Widowers Sharing will meet for a noon potluck dinner on Thursday, Oct. 26, in the Rumford United Methodist Church fellowship hall, Linnell Street. Members are asked to bring a salad or casserole. Beverages and dessert will be provided.

Following the meal, members of the Western Mountains Senior Players will present a program. They perform short mysteries and comedies and some serious pieces. They use costumes and props, but also carry scripts, allowing their audiences and themselves to relax.

Lorrie Hoeh will do a monologue, “Help Me, I’m Becoming My Mother” by Diane Riley. Joe and Lynn Arizzi will perform the play “Jumping” by William Borden.

All widows and widowers are welcome to attend the meal and performance.
