Middle School runs Builders Club fundraiser

HEBRON – Members of the Hebron Academy Middle School Builders Club recently held a fundraiser to fund their community service projects. They made and sold jewelry at the academy’s recent homecoming celebration during a football game and raised more than $100, which they will use to purchase Thanksgiving baskets for local families.

Builders Club is the largest service organization for middle school students ages 12 to 14, with more than 40,000 members worldwide. Builders Club is a “student-led” community service organization, which operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body.

Don Malpass of the Norway/South Paris Kiwanis serves as the adviser. For more information, interested families should check the middle school section of the Hebron Academy Web site at www.hebronacademy.org. For more information on the academy, visit www.hebronacademy.org or call 966-2100.
