LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, has awarded four scholarships to students who are attending schools of higher learning. All four are grandchildren of Post 22 members. Grandparents of three students who have already started classes accepted the awards.

The following students were awarded scholarships:

Brian C. Pelletier, Southern Maine Community College; Danielle Moreau, University of New England; Thomas Baril, University of Maine in Orono; and Jean P. Gagnon, University of Southern Maine at Gorham.
