LEWISTON – Mayor Lionel C. Guay Jr. said Lewiston residents are eligible to win a pair of tickets to see the Doodlebops who will be at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Saturday, Nov. 4, for two performances, 1 and 4 p.m. Four pairs of tickets will be given out for each show.

The Doodlebops performances focus on three candy-colored, fun loving characters, band members Deedee, Rooney and Moe Doodle. Through their music, dance moves and upbeat attitudes and storylines, the Doodlebops share positive messages with young children and introduce them to a variety of musical and dance styles.

Lewiston residents may enter the drawing three ways, and it is requested that only one entry per resident be submitted: Call Lewiston City Hall at 784-2951, ext. 224, and leave a message; fill out a registration form at the treasurer’s office on the second floor of City Hall, 27 Pine St.; or register online at http://www.ci.lewiston.me.us/eventtickets.htm.

Entry information needs to include name, address and daytime telephone where a person can be reached; messages will not be left on answering machines. Ticket winners will be selected by random drawing on Thursday, Nov. 2, by 10 a.m. and will be notified. Proof of Lewiston residency will be required.

Winners will not be eligible for additional city of Lewiston giveaways of event/hockey tickets for the remainder of the current July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007, year.
