NORWAY – Elizabeth Wood, R.N., has been appointed as nurse manager in surgical services for Western Maine Health.

Most recently, Wood was a circulator and charge nurse in surgical services at North Georgia Medical Center. She has also been house supervisor at the medical center. She has experience as an operating room nurse and also has experience in a different area of the operating room as a technical trainer, sales representative and manager for health care corporations.

She graduated with an associate degree in nursing from Florida Community College, and has nearly completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing.

She is staying in Otisfield. She and her husband are looking to purchase a home in the area.
