FARMINGTON – Members of the Franklin County Arts and Crafts Association will meet Tuesday at the University of Maine at Farmington North Dining Hall to make final plans for the annual Christmas fair. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with registration for membership and dues for the fair, which is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2. A business session will begin at 7. Fair hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the Olsen Student Center. Admission is free.

Spaghetti supper

OXFORD – A spaghetti supper will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock ‘O’ Dundee Riders snowmobile clubhouse, Paine Road, East Oxford. Snowmobilers are invited to a complimentary meal and meet the people who help make snowmobile trail riding available.

Quilters to meet

RUMFORD – Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street. In addition to the usual show and tell, members will share Christmas quilting ideas. Part four of the mystery quilt will be distributed and explained. All area quilters are invited. Photo class

MEXICO – A professional photographer will show the correct way to take better pictures with any type of camera. Crystal Treadwell will teach a photography class on Mondays for four weeks from 6 to 8:30 p.m. starting today through Dec. 4 at Region 9 Learning Center. Tuition is $20, and students must have their own camera and know how to use it.

Story hour

MEXICO – Preschool story and craft hour for all children ages 2 to 5 will feature “window” stories when they meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mexico Public Library. Stories to be read include “The Hello, Goodbye Window,” “Louie,” “Sophie’s Window” and “The Popcorn Shop.” Puppets will be the craft for the day. For more information, call the library at 364-3281.
