OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) – Authorities in Carroll County are looking for a woman who disappeared as her trial on charges that she caused a fatal car crash approached.
Tracy Johnson, 35, swallowed sleeping pills and swerved over the center line on Route 16 to cause a crash in 2004 that killed a teen from Madison, police said. Johnson missed a court hearing last month where prosecutors were hoping to revoke her bail because tests showed she had been taking cocaine and other drugs.
She is charged with negligent homicide in the death of Carly Ibboston, 17.
County Attorney Robin Gordon said Johnson may have moved. She had addresses in Wakefield and Barrington.
