Dear Sun Spots: Thank you for the wonderful service you provide, helping so many people.

As some of your readers will remember, about a month ago a single mom and her three children were burned out of their West Paris home, losing everything. They have resettled into an apartment and are very grateful for all the help they have received. However, our parent teacher association and Courtney’s classmates have a very special request of Sun Spots column readers: Courtney, the teenage daughter, had a collection of more than 30 monkeys she had gathered for more than four years. They were lost in the fire. If any of your readers has a monkey or two that they would be willing to part with, Courtney would love to give them a home. Thank you in advance for all your help in bringing a smile to this young teen’s face. Please send your monkeys to: Courtney’s Monkeys, c/o Agnes L. Gray School, 170 Main St., West Paris, ME 04289. If you have any questions please call 674-3839. Thank you. – Friends of the Family, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: You have helped me in the past. I read your column every day. I am looking for an old movie from the 50s – “With a Song in my Heart.” It’s the Jane Froman story. It starred Susan Hayward playing the lead role. It was a wonderful movie, and I would love to share it with my daughter. Any help you could give me would be appreciated. I am willing to pay for a video. Thanks. I can be reached at 6 Scribner Circle, Lewiston, ME 04240 or via phone at 782-9409. – Florence Grenier, Lewiston.
