LIVERMORE FALLS – A blood drive has been scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Murray Hall, Route 4, and from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the American Legion Hall, 184 Congress St., Rumford.
The American Red Cross is offering blood donors the opportunity to “Warm A Heart, Warm Your Home.” All who donate blood can enter to win $200 toward the cost of heating their home.
From December to March, all blood donors in Maine will have the opportunity to enter to win the drawing. A winner will be drawn each month.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good health. There is no upper age limit and most medications and medical conditions do not prohibit someone from donating blood through the Red Cross.
