LEWISTON – The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program series at USM/Lewiston-Auburn will present the Edward Little High School A Cappella Choir on Friday, Dec. 8.
The choir, known as Vocal Eloquence, consists of male and female students ranging from their sophomore to senior year. The program will include traditional holiday melodies with some new arrangements, as well as other a cappella standards.
The ensemble is independent and self-directed with coaching by Richard Rau, former member of the local a cappella quartet, Top Forty.
The presentation will be held in Function Room 170 at USM/L-A beginning at noon. The cost, which includes lunch, is $6 with advance reservation or $8 at the door, opening at 11:30 a.m. Reservations should be made by noon Thursday, Dec. 7, by phone at 753-6510, or online at usm.maine.edu/lac.
