READFIELD – The Maranacook Area Youth Hockey Pee Wee team 4-2-2)swept a weekend series with the Brunswick/Topsham Area’s Mid-Coast skaters.
Alex Ingram and Ian Palmer each netted 2 goals as Maranacook beat Mid-Coast 4-1 Saturday at North Yarmouth Academy. Sam Bryant and Tyler Lang drew assists. Henry Nichols tallied the lone Coastal goal. River Mullen was the winning goalie. Eric Liddy was in net for the hosts.
Sunday at Kents Hill, Maranacook prevailed again by the same score. Tom Pietroski, Chris Stanley, Jason Stevenson and Ingram all lit the lamp. Credited with assists were Stevenson, Bryant and Stanley. Allan Leech scored for Mid-Coast with George Cole assisting. Mullen again donned the pads for the winners.
