Magic YWorld offers Saturday float fun

LEWISTON – The YWCA of Central Maine will offer Magic YWorld on Saturdays beginning Jan. 20.

Magic YWorld is a time for everyone to play on the large inflated float that is placed in the pool. The float, called “Tropical Obstacle,” is a series of six sections, running the length of the pool.

The sections are connected together and the challenge is to navigate the way across the float and down the slide without falling off. Magic YWorld is a way to get exercise while having fun.

Magic YWorld will be held from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. Saturdays beginning Jan. 20. The price for Magic YWorld for basic members is $3 and for non-members, $8.

The YWCA of Central Maine offers open swim memberships, which includes unlimited use of all open swims for a year. The price is $80 for children age 6 months to 12 years; $130 for youth age 13 to 17; $250 for adult age 18 to 59; and $205 for senior, age 60+.
