AUBURN – Les and Linda Bickford of Auburn recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with friends and family at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. They were married at St. Philip’s Church by the late Rev. Louis Berube.
Mrs. Bickford is the former Linda Stelmok, daughter of Helen and the late Anthony Stelmok. She is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the Auburn Maine School of Commerce.
Mr. Bickford is the son of the late Glenwood and Catherine Bickford of Benton. He is a graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield and Wentworth Institute and also attended Northeastern University. He recently retired from Maine and New Hampshire Computer Services, of which he was a founding partner.
They reside at the home he built next to Maple Hill Farm in Auburn, where she grew up.
The couple received many gifts and all enjoyed dining, music and dancing to a local disc jockey.
About 80 people attended from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Florida and England.
A trip to Alaska is planned for next summer.
